Community Coordinator, Eric Love, is the direct supervisor of the ETAP outreach staff. Eric has served in the United States Army, worked as a Radio Host/Radio Announcer for an East Texas radio station, and was a track coach and an after-school instructor. Eric has a certification in Psychology and studied Nuclear Science while in the military. He is a native of Longview and is happily married with 2 kids. Eric views the ETAP program as an effectively relevant program that challenges young people to rethink their decision to have sex before marriage.

Dabi Simpson is the Gregg County Coordinator for ETAP. He has an associate’s degree and plans to complete his education with a bachelor’s degree. Dabi currently lives in Spring Hill, TX, but spent the majority of his life in Quito, Ecuador. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Iris, and his four kids, Shane, Davion, Darian, and Dillon. He has a passion for aviation and enjoys trading cars as a hobby. Dabi says he has met a lot of great kids and has traveled to many exciting destinations for ETAP training. He is happy to educate teens about abstinence and believes it is a good message for teens to hear.

Tonya Waite is the current director for ETAP. Tonya has many years of experience in community outreach. Tonya has several certifications in the medical and IT fields. She is currently pursuing credentials in business management. Tonya was born in Marshall and raised in Hallsville , TX. She and her husband, Justin, have been married for 10 years and have 2 children, Dallin and Alera. They enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and off-roading. She feels that ETAP sends a strong message to teens about remaining abstinent until marriage.

Kim Gonzales is the Abstinence Coordinator for Harrison/Marion Counties. She does public speaking on abstinence for schools, community groups, parents, and health professionals. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in social work, and she previously worked at Pine Tree Junior High as the At-risk Coordinator for Communities In Schools. She currently resides in Jefferson, TX, and is happily married to her husband Andrew. She has two dogs named Chica and Dash and loves to camp, travel, and go scuba diving! She enjoys meeting many different students and hopes that she helps them achieve their goals and dreams.
